PM I want to take a few minutes and voice my opinion on the matter. I believe that our rules cannot begin to go far enough. As you well know, criminals are very resourceful, the more information that is made public, the more fraud or possibility of fraud exist. With the continuing growth and use of the internet and e-commerce, we will inevitably have more information available to us.... and if we don't put restrictions on legitimate businesses' and their use of our personal data, they will unknowingly broadcast information to a shell-company without our knowledge. Add to that the speed of which the internet can spread information, mass fraud can occur before an individual will ever know has been committed against them. If there is not a stance taken now, it continues to snowball. Businesses-alike are just that businesses. They are not doing it for the consumers' well-being but for the money. Information is key to all companies. Thank you for taking the time to read my comments. Sammy [Tom] |
