Yes, the proposal to keep kids safer by means of consent is an excellent idea! My three children, ages 12,11,& 9, all surf the net and there are strict rules about it at our home, one being that I or another adult needs to be present at the time of surfing but, sometimes other things need my attention and I need to step away from the supervision. Any proposal to keep my children safer is a great idea to me. Even though the internet is a wonderful thing to help expand learning, it can be harmful also. You have my vote!
