I support the efforts of the Commission to obtain and verify parental permission for young children to provide information online to marketers. As a marketer myself, I understand the vlaue of these data and the uses to which th ey can be put. As a parent, I try to dilute incoming consumer information as much as possible to assure my child develops values that are greater than just "what I want to buy". Unless and until these safeguards are in place, I will restrict my child from using commerical sites that collect data. I must provide permissiosn and email will not suffice.
