Subject: Parent Comment

I want to say it is about time that something was done about e-privacy. Please ensure that parental consent is defined as a written letter from the parent indicating what can and not be collected--an itemized listing. I am very concerned that any other definition of parental consent would leave the door open to abuses. I certainly do not want an email consent because it is to easy to forge or send from a parent email that a child may know.

Further, this law would have to apply to all internet sites and not just sites that target children to work. Also, I feel this law should apply to ALL USERS of the internet and not just kids. E.G., all sites should seek permission before tracking, collecting, or identifying anything that users look up/use/buy/research, etc.

Thanks for this effort.
