From what I can tell the proposed new lable has definate flaws. The first and most important is that the the new lables seem designed to allow dealers to get around laws that exist in all 50 states require dealers to clearly follow state laws regarding disclosure of known problems. Also the laws in all states give buyers certain rights should the car purchaced be found to be defective and the proposed new lable gives the impression that the buyer does not have recource. The lable should clearly state that the buyer does have rights under state laws and that this lable does not in any way change or limit those laws. The second most important flaw is having important information on the back of the forms. Many people, unfortunately, do not read the backs of forms so all of the important should be placed on the front side of the form. The new required lables would seem to be step backwards not a step forwards. I hope very much that the commision will reconsider the proposed changes and not replace that while it may not be perfect is still an improvement over the proposed new lable
