Are pharmacists at the discount stores and online companies trained to understand the side effects and problems that may occur with the drugs they want to sell Can they instruct their customers properly about how to administer these medications successfully to animals who may resist them Will they know how to instruct the customer if the animals are aggressive Secondly, when customers buy their meds from these parties, do they realize that the losses to their local vet clinic in what has always been a revenue base for the clinic will then drive the basic costs of veterinary services higher So they save a few bucks on the medication, but will have to pay much more for an office visit, if they want to still have an office to visit... perhaps the walmarts and Pet meds of 5the world will soon have online vets who are there to provide care if those animals get sick, injured or need diagnostic testing
