FTC Seeks Public Comments on Two More Proposed Whole Foods Divestitures, Docket No. 9324, FTC File No. 071 0114

To whom it may concern, I am writing to urge you to find in favor of A-M Holdings in the acquisition of the "Alfalfa's" name and intellectual property. • Alfalfa's Market was one of the first natural food stores in the nation and was originally opened in this location by the aforementioned buyers. It holds a special place in Boulder's history and in the hearts and memories of locals who are excited to see it's return. • Returning Alfalfa's Market to its orginal local ownership will help restore competition in Boulder. The principals of A-M Holdings have a proven track record as skilled and conscientous operators, dedicated to the Boulder community. Diversity of choices has been drastially limited since Whole Food's acquisition of Wild Oats and the character (i.e. corporate vs. locally owned) is very noticeable. Please consider the best interests of our community when deciding this question. Yours truly, Kenneth Goldman
