FTC Seeks Public Comments on Two More Proposed Whole Foods Divestitures, Docket No. 9324, FTC File No. 071 0114

To Whom it May Concern: I write to state my concern regarding Topco's bid to take over Alfalfa's and the name Alfalfas. PLEASE don't give TOPCO that which rightfully belongs to the orginal owners of Alfalfa's. I have lived in Boulder most of my life, and Alfalfa's has always been my favorite store, in fact, even though it has changed hands over the years, I have never been able to call it anything other than Alfalfa's - it was a Boulder tradition, and one of the first healthfully-minded markets of its kind. A place to meet up with friends, a local gathering place, and a place with wonderful and well-priced foods. Alfalfa's means something to Boulderites. We already live in times where the 'Walmarts' and other huge conglomerates rule over the little guys. To me, even Whole Foods has become yet another huge, impersonal chain store. But for Boulder, the WORST that could happen would be for our beloved Alfalfa's to lose its hopes for reopening to...TOPCO??!! Please, let us have a choice in markets for our healthful and organic foods, keep Alfalfa's and keep the unique flavor of Boulder. Thank you, Aleta L. Randall
