FTC Seeks Public Comments on Two More Proposed Whole Foods Divestitures, Docket No. 9324, FTC File No. 071 0114

Dear Commissioners, I am requesting that you do not allow Topco to purchase the Alfalfa's Market name and intellectual property. Alfalfa's has a long history here in Boulder. It was our first organic market many years ago, in the same place it hopes to occupy again. Keeping its name will help it to compete with Whole foods, which has three locations in Boulder. We need this competition in the organic and local foods market since Whole Foods prices are the highest of any store in town. The community fondly knows Alfalfa's as a locally owned company, and we strongly wish to support local businesses. Thank you for considering my request to keep the Alfalfa's name and intellectual property in the hands of its current local citizen-owners from Boulder. Jeanne Janaki LeFils
