FTC Seeks Public Comments on Two More Proposed Whole Foods Divestitures, Docket No. 9324, FTC File No. 071 0114

I have resided in Boulder, CO since 1971. Alfalfa's Market on Broadway and Arapahoe was one of the first large scale natural and organic food markets in the nation and the first in Boulder. It was where I shopped for years before its acquisition by Wild Oats and subsequently Whole Foods. It was a true community market and should be restored to that status. As the owner of a cooking school, I was invited to teach cooking in the market. The new owners want to reestablish that important aspect of the store. If Alfalfa's is restored to its original home in Boulder, it and the principals of A-M will provide needed competition. I want Alfalfa's Market back in Boulder where it belongs. Thanks for considering this viewpoint. Joan Brett, CEO Culinary School of the Rockies
