FTC Seeks Public Comments on Two More Proposed Whole Foods Divestitures, Docket No. 9324, FTC File No. 071 0114

To Whom it may concern, My name is David Haynes and I am a Boulder resident. My wife, 3 kids and I want another competitor in Boulder. There are 3 Whole Foods markets in the vicinity which seems to have a dominant position in the market. There choices are similar between all three stores and their variety is limited. Boulder needs to have a competitor in the market. We used to shop at Wild Oats on Broadway in the location which used to be Alfafas. Now there are only Whole Foods, much to our consternation. Alfalfas has a deep history in the community. It was one of the first Natural Foods stores in the country, leading the country in its offerings of delicious organic food and superior customer service. Please bring back the folks who helped start the organic movement and let them operate the Alfalfas stores! In an age where we as citizens face obesity, big box store proliferation, and a dominant chain in Whole Foods looking to continually commoditize the Organic selections, we need competition! Thanks in advance for your time and consideration. Sincerely, David Haynes
