First if the word free is used in an ad, something must be free with no auto commitments by the consumer like(14 day free trial and you will be automatically enrolled in our service)this should be outlawed if I want the service it should be me, the consumer who requests the sevice at my exspence after the 14 day trial(not 14 day free trial) and I then allow a charge! The free item should have a min dollar value like $3 or $5 that way if the product is a good buy peole will be inspires to purchase, and no company should ever have a built-in way to charge someone for a product or service! The FTC needs to do more to protect consumers from companies that hatch hairbrain sceams to take my hard earned money without my knowledge of the transaction as it is happening. Companies and people who are doing this type of business should lose the right to conduct buisness of any kind in the USA. Back to the 14 day free trial thing, it has been my exspieriance that after 14 days your card is charged for a 30 day billing periot and in less then 16 additional days another 30 day billing periot hits the card. So 30 days have past (including the 14 day free trial) but you have been charged for 60 days of service, this negates the 14 day free trial because by now you have paid for the 14 days, the 16 days after that, and 30 more days that have not past yet. So what happened to my free days?
