I would like to comment that in order for the public to get their free credit report the credit reporting agencies should NOT be allowed to advertise and place links on the home page of Annual Credit Report.com. Credit reporting agencies could place links on this site, but placed after the public has received/requested their free credit report. I agree with the FTCs changes to delay marketing for products until after the consumer has obtained their reports via mail, Internet, or telephone. I also agree with FTCs change that credit reporting agencies must inform consumers if they are not on the official free report site.
