We, as consumers who make the economy of the United States run, are not in a power seat when it comes to dealing with the likes of Credit Reporting Agencies and Credit Card Companies like Visa and Mastercard. The government has allowed these entities to run all over us, and it has done this by allowing all the rules and laws to swing in their direction only. Credit Reporting Agencies have moved in to a mighty powerful place in the last 25 years and they need to be held in check with some potent pro-consumer laws, laws that have substantial teeth for biting when these power houses need to be bit. My God, do you think you can do that? These laws are desperately needed contrary to what the mega-agencies and companies are telling you.
