Do not allow advertising and marketing by the credit bureaus associated with a request for an individual to obtain a free credit report. People should be able to obtain a free credit report without having to be subject to advertising and marketing. It is potentially confusing and misleading to be offered for-purchase services when attempting to obtain free information.
