Comment on FTC Free Report 10/22/2009 I don't care about my credit score number, but because of this over rated method which has become the gold standard for determining if I am a good guy or not based on everything I buy how often I change my credit cards for my own personal or financial reasons I have to be concerned if these three agencies that have been given the duty to oversee every ones move is going to effect my score is ridiculous and intrusive to me. I should not have to check my own credit score. These companies know who I am and ware I am and they know everything about me from my E Mail address to my S.S. number, home address and my phone number. They can send it to me every year, without me putting my S.S. number on line to be high jacked by some schemer. I also would like for these agencies to be required to notify the client when an inquiry has been made about their credit and who is asking for such information, this would cut down on the abuse and stop identity theft from the use of this system and the client could confirm or deny the request. There is no need to put the last for of my S.S. number on any correspondents if they provide my name and address and phone number, the last for of our S.S. # is the persons I D. A thief can determine the rest by the other info on the paper. R.Frydrych
