I agree that the truly free reports from annualcreditreport.com should not have advertising that confuses and misleads a person while simply attempting to get their one free report each year. I have not gone back since 3 years ago because the 3 different systems were too confusing to navigate and were filled with traps to make me think I needed to purchase something. In addition , the commercially advertised freecreditreport.com is not at all free and they should be forced to say so in their ads. That is just deceptive. I consider myself an educated consumer and savvy internet user. I feel bad for the innocent and not so experienced web consumer. I think they are unfortunate victims in these practices and should be able to get a free credit report easily.
