16 CFR Part 610 Amendments to Rule to Prevent Deceptive Marketing of Credit Reports and to Ensure Access to Free Annual File Disclosures

I think that the three proposed changes are an excellent step towards improving the website provided by the FTC. I have always had to request my free annual credit report via snail mail because of the large quantities of advertisements and upsells. I would be much more likely to use the report if the proposed changes were enacted. I would also like to propose that free annual access to an individual's credit score be made available. Why can I have a free copy of my credit report, but not my credit score which is normally available for paying customers? It is discriminatory, in a way, not to allow free annual access to an individual's credit score, especially if that is the main piece of information used to made determinations on rates, mortgage approvals and lines of credit.
