I have been an independent businessman for six years. My wife has been an independent businesswoman for eleven years. As small business entities we understand how important to the overall business economy in this state and country it is to provide a product and service, employ people, operate safely, comply with OSHA, and pay taxes. If the FTC or any other arm of the Federal bureaucracy knocked on our doors and alleged that our products are inferior, mislabeled, misleading, unsafe,or unfit for consumption we would demand that proof be shown. Fighting these allegations would take resources needed to continue our operations. Maybe we'll just lay off our employees to cover the fight. Is this necessary when egregious violations of trade do not exist? Splitting hairs over definitions is a huge waste of time and tax dollars. Please leave Bamboosa alone so they can continue to manufacture a superior product while employing the people of Andrews, SC. I have a dozen pieces of Bamboosa apparel and I love them. I'm ordering more for Christmas gifts. I see no public interest in your efforts to punish Bamboosa. I don't hear the public complaining. I just hear people working in a manufacturing facility so they can pay takes and feed their families. Can you hear it?
