From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I am appalled at your extreme ignorance. Any attempt to control journalistic reporting/the press, is a violation of our First Amendment, which in case you have forgotten, is the FREEDOM OF SPEECH. In case you don’t understand what Freedom Of Speech means…it means, no one, not you, me or our government can filter, influence or direct by political influence, position or financial means, the flow of information. Since this move appears to be government initialed: REMEMBER ONE THING: Elected Official DO NOT go through a Background Security Investigation as is required for EVERYONE ELESE IN THE NATION! With that in mind, we NEED our CHECKS & BALANCES! The media is our ONLY “Background Investigators”. The reports from the media on EVERY issue is (required) needed. If there is ever an attempt to control the flow of information (violating our freedom of speech), our right to bear arms or our liberty…the only outcome we can surmise is an impending attempt of dictatorship. Should that every happen, you will awaken all of the sleeping dragons in America…Something probably better left alone. This administration has already pushed far too many American Patriots buttons. Let’s get back on track and do what’s right for AMERICA! Remember: For every Action there is an Equal and OPPOSITE REACTION.
