From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I can think of nothing more unconstitutional than the silencing of free speech, especially when the free conservative speech the liberal media desires to silence seems to most closely uphold our nation's constitution. It is the right to free speech that the founding fathers sought when ties were severed with England...when the monarchy and the British Empire wished to crush all those who opposed the king and the dictatorial form of rule imposed upon the citizenry of England. Now, because the conservative voices oppose the liberal agenda of our current government administration, the government seeks to silence the so-called "vitriol" that voices opposition. This nation needs a leader who is willing to uphold the Constitution, and bring it back to "One Nation Under God", with no apologies to the rest of the world, or to the citizens of this nation who want some kind of anti-religious-free-love-anything-goes way of life. We have a responsibility to our nation and our fellow Americans. Our leader should be the embodiment of these core beliefs, inspiring his nation's citizens to live the American way of life to the fullest. If it is the conservative voices of this nation who seek to stir the spirits of the American people and get them to wake up and see what is happening, the conservative voices should be amplified, not silenced.
