From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
When will the government that is supposed to act on our behalf, stop spending the money we worked hard for, on things that we do not agree with. When the people who take from the system outnumber the ones who pay in and can continue to vote to take from the working class, our country is doomed to failure. Why shouldn't they vote for it, it costs them nothing. When I had 2 children and was left to care for them by myself, I CHOSE to find a job that paid a living wage, with health insurance and other benefits. I CHOSE to leave a career path that was gratifying to me to take a path that would better provide for my children. I sacrificed my wants for their needs. It has not been easy, in fact it has been very hard. I could go on, but why? Do you care? You need to realize that this philsophy is killing America, slowly but surely. What happened to freedom of the press? Freedom of speech? Right to bear arms? These are just some of the rights our country was founded on and slowly they are being stripped away. I am sad, sad indeed at the path our country has been on. I do my part and vote for the things and people I feel best represent what I believe in, yet I continually feel unrepresented. I work for this country yet I see very few in my country working for me. Thank you for your time.
