From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
My fellow Americans, Please consider that we the people need no more taxes to be paid. The liberal politicians in this state recently passed the largest tax increase in the history of this country! They should all be quite ashamed of what they've done to their own grand children! The way the free market works is that if a business cannot keep up, it needs to make changes, or simply go out of business. If the local newspapers cannot make it in these days of the internet, then they need to make some serious changes, or find another line of work. Liberal thought has permeated all branches of traditional mass communication. This is because these businesses need massive mounts of "influence" money in order to survive. Liberals have every union in the nation behind them, and thus behind the largest means of mass communication. It is nearly impossible to find a non-liberal news outlet these days. All I can say to this is thank God for the internet!!! There is a lot of junk on it, but the internet has become the last bastion of free thought and expression in this nation. FCC members, please leave the internet alone. Do not attempt to impose taxes or draconian regulations on its use. The government is meddling in too many facets of our day-to-day lives these days, already. The internet cannot simply become one more extension of the federal government. This will become a total waste of everyone's resources. There are too many ways around whatever you could think to do to regulate internet use.
