From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
The Internet does not need any interference by any government organization. If you change the First Amendment, that goes against the Constitution. We are a nation of laws. Laws that were written by our Representatives. The FTC has no business trying to circumvent the Constitution because you were not elected to your position. The job of the FTC is not to help journalism in any way, shape, or form. If journalism can't compete with the internet, so be it. The government has dumbed down our schools i.e. education. People want quick everything and are choosing to not read newspapers. I personally used to enjoy reading the newspaper but since they've chosen to not report news of any consequence there's not much left to read. We've had too many bailouts as it is. Free speech is a condition of being an American whether we like what is said or not. Please keep the Internet free from anything that is Government.................
