From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I am not sure what your basis is for being involved with this, but it 'smells' of restricting the citizens of their 1st Amendment rights in one form or another. Let the expression of opinions flourish. We find more truth that way than what is reported by most of the major media outlets. Nor should any 'subsidies' be created to support and prop up news services. Let the market take care of it. The market is a vote by the people. Forget about artificial methods of keeping a system which the citizenry won't support.
