From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I remember reading about how the Nazis first took control of the media available at that time before they began to squash anyone who was against them. Then they applied the same tactic to their neighbors who might object to being taken over. Similar tactics were used in the USSR to keep anyone who did not agree with their ruthless methods from speaking out against 'the establishment'. Now the person who pretends to be the leader of the greatest nation in the world wants to silence those who do not agree with HIS socialistic agenda. I can only assume that the outcome here would be similar to what took place in Germany and the USSR. Without the voice of reason and logic, the nation would soon not know anything except what the power mongers want them to hear and see. This is not what the United States of American is about. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave. This is the nation which has a Bill of Rights. This nation has a Constitution which expresses the difference between this nation and those who have come to ruin under grueling regimes who would make slaves of its citizens. The Declaration of Independence states the reasons why this nation was founded and it speaks out against these kinds of actions by the leaders or others who would take from the people their freedom and force them to do things against their primary principles. Should the pretend president succeed in taking control of the media more than he already has taken over and wooed the newspapers and TV networks, we would no longer be the great nation that we have been throughout our history. He needs to read the real history of this nation and stop trying to rewrite it with a socialist twist. He does not know much about who the USA actually is and it is apparent in his attitudes and actions. I despise what he has done and is attrmpting to do to subjugate our nation and its people. He will find out that the results will not be satisfactory if he should succeed in his diabolical efforts.
