Are you kidding me? At what point will the government step out of the picture and let business succeed/fail on their own? If newspapers or certain opinionated radio stations succeed or fail it is because they are/are not offering what the public wants. You people ever heard of supply/demand? Look it up. I believe this was covered in economics in the 5th grade. But I can telll you we were NOT taught that if you couldn't supply what the public wants/needs/demands and your company went broke then your government would step in and support them. What kind of news do you think we will be reading if the government pays the salaries of the reporters? The truth? Ha! You can't get the truth out of these people now. I can only imagine the line of lies we'll get when they are actually on the government payroll. The government needs to worry more about national security, illegal immigration and this joke they call the Health Care Reform Bill. You know, things covered under the Constitution that states very specifically what the Federal government's job is. I learned in the 4th grade what the Federal government is allowed to do nad exactly what thier job is. And I'm pretty damned sure that bailing out car companies, banks and newspapers IS NOT the Federal governments job.
