A free society must have a free and open press. That means no meddling by the Federal Government in what we can say or print. Your wild dreams to reintroduce the fairness doctrine is pure bullshit. It was no good before and it will only be worse now. You bureaucrats in the government DO NOT know what is best for us to listen to or read for that matter. Come November when Congress has a lot of new faces and we the people start taking back this country to return it to its former granduer, you unelected bureaucrats will be our next target. We are watching and we will remember. If the mainstream media and the dinosaur newspapers cannot exist on their own it is because the garbage they are peddling stinks. Should the Federal Government get involved, the stench will only get worse. Remember because of the policies of this administration and Congress, supported by those media sources that are now in financial difficulties, great strain has been put on our economy with their shortsightedness. The current unemployment picture will make it hard for laid off bureaucrats to find a job. We don't need you meddling in our rights to free speech.
