From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
The Constitution belongs to the People of these United States. The first 10 Amendments of the Constitution were ratified as a group and some states would not ratify the Constitution unless these 10 Amendments -- a Bill of Rights -- were included. The very first Amendment in the Bill of Rights says Congress may not make any law that diminishes the freedom of speech, or the freedom of the press, or the right of the people to assemble peacefully, or the right of the people to petition the Government to make things right if it has caused them harm. The future of journalism must remain with the citizens, not a commission of individuals. The FTC is on the path of usurping the People's powers. Congress is usurping the people's rights. And the Administration is stomping on our Constitution. Do not do this, as the People are watching.
