From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
The attempts by the FTC to regulate the use of the internet and in addition to use government funds to pay for education of "journalists" or to pay to maintain obsolete means of news reporting is un-American and should not be allowed. The 1st Ammendment of the Constitution of the United States states: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press... The attempt by the Federal Government under the FTC must not be allowed to obstruct our ability to exercise these rights outlined in the Consitution.
