From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Journalism is failing because journalists are failing to report news that is unbiased. To many of what were top rated and respected newspapers, news magazines, etc no longer report the facts fair and balanced. They have become very liberal and report "their" news slanted in that direction. There is very little interest for this so called "journalism" hence the failing newspapers. As with any business change the model or close the doors. There is no need for government interference and definitely no tax payers dollars should be used to "bail out" these failing companies. Just give the public the truth and the facts and media outlets will once again be profitable. The American people know what they want they don't need or want the gov't telling them what they should and shouldn't know. We live in the United states of America and the gov't even considering taking action like this is an affront to our constitution and a disgrace!
