From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I urge the Federal Communications Commission (the FCC) to reject any and all efforts to censor, limit, or restrain free speech – on conservative, Christian, or liberal talk radio, on the internet or anywhere else. This includes through the antiquated FCC rule mis-known as the “Fairness” Doctrine – as well as backdoor “Fairness” Doctrine-type FCC regulatory powers such as enforcement of “localism,” “diversity in media ownership” and service of the “local” or “public interest.” This also includes any attempt to regulate content of the internet or any other journalistic outlet. I object to any further infringements on First Amendment Rights of "freedom of the press" and "fredom of speech".
