From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
To whom it may concern, I am writing to express my STRONG opposition to your "Potential Policy Recommendations to Support the Reinvention of Journalism". Rather than let the free market determine what forms of journalism remain viable, big government is once again attempting to insinuate itself into the private sector with misguided attempts to level the playing field - code for taxation and socialization. A free press forms the basis of our democracy and the FTC has no right to interfere with it. This is nothing more than a ruse to tax and stifle conservative speech.
