As painful as freedom of speech can sometimes be, I would rather hear the arguing of free people than the silence demanded by oppressive government. I oppose any regulation or legislation that seeks to diminish our freedom of speech thru taxation or other device, e.g. fairness or local representation schemes, etc.. Restrictions by government on speech, especially speech of a political nature are bad "FOR THE CONSUMER". Let we, the citizens decide who the good and bad journalists are by our attention or lack thereof to them. You, the government have no business supporting or opposing any journalist.
