From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Freedom of speech is important to me. I prefer to hear all sides of an issue, not just the side the government wants me to hear. We do not need a government program to train journalists and I do not want to subsidise their pay. Ex. The creation of a journalism division of AmeriCorps and/or a direct journalism bailout fund to “help pay the salary of every journalist.” The government should not subsidize journalism, radio, or the internet. People will pay for and recieve information in the format they like the most; paper, radio, TV or internet. No subsidies - no more taxes. Gwen Pasbrig
