From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Voting, prior to the availability of the internet to the common citizen was the only voice we had to express ourselves. Of course voting remains the only voice with power that we have. But, the internet provides us a means of expressing that which we have been muted on. To deny us this tool exposes government agencies as either fearful or tyrannical. Of course, government should in fact fear the people rather than the people fear the government. Government continues to grow as a cancer in this once great nation. Steadily chipping away at our rights in the name of fairness which is simply socialism. Be advised, we believe the government should fear the people. We take this belief serious. Treading on the rights of Americans can be expensive. As respectfully as I can muster when speaking to a "servant" of the people, please, "comply with the will of the people". I for one, will not beg you to not be oppressive, I will simply advise you to refrain from it.
