It appears that the size of government is growing in order to maintain a higher level of employment and to gain the political allegiance of those employed to fill the newly established positions required to staff new agencies. Federal funds (additonal taxes) are then required to pay staff salaries and their initiatives which are required to justify their existance. Establishment of uneeded agencies and subsidies militate against the free market and are counterproductive to a democratic society. In summary, the American public no longer trusts the liberal news media. They need no agencies or subsidies to support their continued existance and should experience the same fate as an ordinary entrepreneur who fails to provide desired services to his customers.
