From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Journalism, and any other form of communication in the United States is protected by the U.S. Constitution and any taxing, subsidizing or other forms of government regulation that would restrain the free exchange of information, or favor any form of exchange over another cannot be tolerated. The restriction of any free exchange of information in any media by the FTC in any way is a crime against all U.S. citizens, and suggesting that the government should reinvent or save or make fair any source of information, or journalism, or media, cannot be accepted in a nation which is governed first and foremost by a Constitution that exists to protect the citizens from such government interference.
