From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
The last thing this country needs is to place another tax on any form of communication be it newspapers, tv, radio or the internet. What we need is less taxation and more freedom of speech, and less intervention in creating new businesses or expanding existing ones. We do not need additional burdens placed on the airways or web "ways". Please encourage the dissemination of information and not kill it by placing new taxes on the means of its distribution. America become the strongest most envied country in the world because of our freedoms and limited (though growing) taxation and the government allowing creativity to blossom by not putting up bureaucratic roadblocks or penalizing it with more taxes! Please do not stifle our communication systems with unnecessary and damaging new taxes. Please help America continue to prosper and maintain it's leadership position by allowing free communication via radio and the internet.
