Should the government have siphoned money from the car makers to support the buggy-whip companies? Should the government have siphoned money from personal computer companies to support typewriters companies? NO. As revenues move from newspapers and television to the internet, it is simply time for the next innovation. There will be winners and losers. We will all benefit from the outcome.
