From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Dear FTC members: It has come to my attention that you are considering various taxes and regulations which would have the effect of suppressing some journalisn while favoring others. As nearly as I can tell, it appears that this is politically oriented. This is a very disturbing development. It is a violation of true freedom of the press which Our Constitution clearly says is not to be abridged. Those who say this only applies to traditional media and not newer media expressions are clearly twisting the intent of the Constitution in order to suppress freedom of speech and press for their political opponets. I call upon you to resist political pressure and uphold full freedom for all Americans. Thank you. Sincerely, Darrell Chilson
