From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I totally object to taxing & censoring conservative & Christian talk shows. This limits our freedom of speech & freedom to gain information. It is against the first amendment. It is also wrong to tax our use of electronic media & then use the money to prop up politically correct viewpoints. Radio, the internet, & cell phones are methods people have of staying informed. Taxing their use will just impose another big burden on the average tax payer. My business depends on internet advertising. Taxing that & people' use of it will decrease my income even more when I am already living on savings just to stay in business. I pray that you will do the right thing & what people need & want, not just follow some pre-planned agenda to forward a complete take-over of our communications network to further the power of government. Sincerely, Judy Michno
