"The 1st Amendment states that "We the People" have the right to the freedom of speech. That means NO ONE has the right to tax anyone else for anything they have to say whether they agree with them or not. There are enough legitimate ways in our system to create new journalists; the government should NOT be able to grow their own brand of journalists at tax payer's expense. There is nothing wrong with our system the way it is, it doesn't need "reinventing". I do not want to see my FREE REPUBLIC turned into some kind of over regulated, socialistic government run society. The people who support such a scheme will be voted out in November by Americans who want to preserve their rights." Don't you public servants have anything better to do than waste my money on this (you know, fix the economy, create jobs, stop the oil leak, repeal Obamacare, etc.)? I can see November from my house!
