The not-veiled attempt to take over the press is unconstitutional at the very least an immoral at best. To call an opposing viewpoint hate speech is irrational and disingenuous. The proposed "Fairness Doctine" is anything but. What the FTC wants to impose with the "Fairness Doctrine" is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. We are entitled to speak freely regarding opinions and fact, but this proposal is ridiculous and the tax payers will not stand for it. To force tax payers to bail out the media when its obvious that the tax payer isn't interested in what they are selling at any price is again immoral. If the media were doing its best to report instead of print fiction and propaganda they would be profitable. But the main-stream media is an extension of the government at this point so why would any thinking American want to buy their product when it contains nothing of value? The report issued by the FTC is nothing more than a plan for the government take over of all means of communication in order to keep the public uninformed and compliant. Well, in the end it will not work, you can take that to the bank.
