To: FTC Subject: Jun 15, 2010 meeting re: Reinvention of Journalism All, I am VEHEMENTLY opposed to your 47 page Reinvention of Journalism. 1. It contains several new taxes including a 5% tax on consumer electronics. 2. It provides for a direct Journalism Bailout fund for journalists salaries that will be paid by all taxpayers, i.e. yet another bailout. NO!!! 3. We do NOT need a journalism division of AmeriCorp to train new journalists. Especially using MY money. There are more than enough colleges and universities to providE this training. 4. The provisions to limit the "freedom of speech or of the press" as stated in the 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution is ILLEGAL. DO NOT IMPLEMENT ANY OF THE ITEMS LISTED IN THE "REINVENTION OFJOURNALISM. Mrs. Langston
