From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
FTC: This Nation's success and freedom has always been supported and made more effective with the mechanisms of a free marketplace. This is what journalism is about - reporting on the marketplace. Yes, the form of reporting changes with the continuous introduction of new methods and technology to reporting plus the continuously changing market for reported information. This will continuously evolve; another example of a dynamic marketplace. In all markets, the most effective solution for choosing changes is not through government control but by allowing various parts to FAIL and to stay out of the way of other parts to grow and/or transform as necessary without being subsidized directly or indirectly. In other words, keep your hands off freedom of speech and any other form of control over speech and press. Thank you for allowing me to respond.
