From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
A tax on consumer electronics is like putting a tax on tires, and fan belts for your vehicle repairs under a transportation tax. Electronics and vehicle parts are parts and pieces of the consumable market. It is not the taxpayers burden to pay for hushing one group of people and funding the "training" of another. This is a free market in a free country where everyone has a right to speak what is on their mind and if others do not like it or it offends them; then so be it, they have a right to be offended and listen to something else. The “Reinvention of Journalism” that outlines a series of taxes that would stifle free speech and silence conservatives. Whether a person is left, right or somewhere in between journalism should be a truthfull, honest profession with no payoffs or public taxation for funding any certain spin of reporting or media device!
