From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
If the newsmedia cannot sustain itself financially, it is purely because their product is out of step with normal Americans. If they want their product to succeed, they should adjust their product to legitimate news rather than the radical liberal agenda driven propaganda poorly labeled news that they currently spew out. The American way is to allow companies that have a good product to succeed and companies that have a bad product to fail. If the newsmedia continues to put out a bad product, let them fail and allow a new company with a better product come on to the scene and try their hand at it. That is the American way. Bailouts are the way of socialist countries. The last thing we need in America is more waste of taxpayer money on ideas that do not work. I as a taxpayer should not have to contribute a dime to a poorly run news organization that stands in direct opposition to my value system. Let them pay their own way or fold. It is as simple as that.
