From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
America was founded on free speech, ads pay for much of the programming on the media. There is already so much yellow journalism that we don't get any information about what is really going on that we may as well be watching a shoot em up, and who robbed who on the news. We have a right to know what our city, county, state and federal governments are doing on a day to day basis. The only way we get that now is if we have talk radio, whatever their opinions. The government being involved in paying for the news and what is on the air is the beginning of nazi germany and communist russia and china. Surely all the people at the FTC aren't that young to have forgotten the struggles that were faced and how many people have died. SURELY, YOU ARE NOT OPTING TO TURN OUR COUNTRY COMMUNIST.
