From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
The Internet is open to all comers including newspaper and magazine publishers. If they cannot compete or cannot find a business model that works, it is not the responsibility of those who can find a viable way to communicate on the Internet to subsidize those who cannot. Even worse, the idea of subsidizing one idealogy - that which is demonstrated by the liberal press - using taxpayer money is unconstitutional. Of course, this Administration seems to have no regard for our Constitution and Congress continues to be a willing accomplice.
